Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vector Labs, LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information in connection with the Graded mobile application (“App”).

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information You Create in the App

Graded allows you to create and store information such as:

• personal standards
• performance tracking data
• journal entries
• reminders and preferences
• analytics derived from your activity in the App

Unless otherwise stated, this information is stored locally on your device.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used to operate the App's core features, including:

• tracking your standards and completions
• calculating grades, trends, and reports
• generating reminders and widgets
• displaying insights and analytics
• supporting backup and restore functionality
• improving the reliability and performance of the App

3. Data Storage

At launch, Graded primarily stores your information locally on your device.

If backup, sync, or other cloud-based features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect those changes.

4. Feedback and Support

If you choose to send feedback or contact support, you may provide information such as:

• your message content
• app version
• device and system information
• other diagnostic details you choose to include

This information is used to respond to your request, investigate issues, and improve the App.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Graded may send local notifications to your device.

These notifications are generated based on your settings and data stored in the App.

Notification permissions are controlled through your device settings.

6. Analytics and Tracking

Graded uses limited, privacy-focused product analytics (currently PostHog) to help us understand how the App is used and improve the user experience.

Analytics data may include app launches, onboarding progress, onboarding interactions, paywall views, purchase flow events, reminder or notification enablement, report viewing activity, app version, build number, and general technical information needed to operate analytics.

Graded does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Graded does not send product analytics providers your standard names, journal entries, reminder text, report contents, grades, GPA values, profile name, email address, health data, or other personal content you create in the App.

Analytics information is used only to understand product usage, improve functionality, identify usability issues, and evaluate feature effectiveness. It is not used for advertising and is not sold to data brokers.

Subscription and purchase status for App Store transactions is handled separately, as described in Section 7.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the App, process App Store subscription status, provide analytics services, comply with the law, or respond to valid legal requests.

Service providers that process information on our behalf are used only to help operate and improve the App, not for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Subscriptions and purchases are bought and restored through Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We use RevenueCat as a companion service provider to help us understand and operate subscription status (for example trials, renewals, cancellations, and product identifiers). RevenueCat may process transaction-related information such as transaction identifiers, App Store product IDs, trial/subscription/renewal/cancellation status, and technical identifiers needed to operate the service (including anonymous app user IDs). RevenueCat does not receive your standards, journal entries, grades, GPA, report contents, profile name, or email address, and is not used for advertising. 8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any backups you choose to create.

9. Your Choices

You may control your use of the App by:

• editing or deleting your data within the App
• exporting backups of your data
• deleting all data from within the App
• disabling reminders in the App or in device settings
• uninstalling the App at any time

10. Children's Privacy

Graded is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised.

Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
